Preaching The Gospel From Owasso To The World
Beginnings - In a invitation to a monthly prayer meeting at city hall I discovered that the old church building behind city hall had been purchased by the city of Owasso. Looking for a temporary meeting place for Sunday classes I asked the city manager and economical director if it was available for use on Sundays. Once they let us know we could rent the rooms, Gospel Light Ministry became the very first to begin meeting in what is now known as " Old Central" building used by Owasso for city council, traffic court, character meetings, and other various functions. Room 108 was our first room to use until the need for another room became obvious, we rented another room for our Youth. We have a new home located at 10 S. Birch. We invite you to; "Come Join Us! as we seek to Gather Grow and Go" Invitation - I want to personally invite you to come be a part of Gospel Light Ministry as we seek to win others to Christ. My office is located in our home until we have permanent facilities, so we might answer the phone with just a Hello, so be prepared. Gospel Light - invites you to Come Join Us as we Gather, Grow and Go seeking, serving, and worshiping together as believers. What exciting days for a church that can Gather, Grow, and Go in a city that is gathering, growing, and going. At Gospel Light we are hoping to make a difference in the lives of those in our community in which we live. Our vision is threefold: Gather: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Heb 10:25 KJV) Grow: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (Eph 4:15 KJV) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby: (1Pet 2:2 KJV) Go: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
